Working in the Rochester Meshbesher & Spence office, Zach focuses on plaintiff’s personal injury and criminal defense law. He approaches his work with sensitivity and expertise, offering guidance to clients facing difficult situations. Zach believes that a good lawyer offers appropriate advice and counsel while still allowing clients to ultimately make the decision on whether a resolution or trial is in their best interest.
Zach started his legal career as a public defender and later worked as a prosecutor in Olmsted County. Since 2006, he has worked as a private criminal defense practitioner representing individuals that have been charged with driving under the influence, domestic assault, drug offenses, criminal sexual conduct offenses and theft. Over the past ten years, he has represented clients throughout Southeastern Minnesota and prevailed in well over two dozen jury trials. Zach has also worked closely with clients who seek to seal or expunge past convictions that are impacting their ability to gain employment or housing.
Zach and his wife Debbie, live in Rochester, Minnesota with their son, Blake. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, basketball and softball.
